Epic Universe at Universal Studios - Tips to make your trip fun for the entire family

Univeral Studio's Epic Universe officially opens May 22nd 2025.  Here are three tips to make your stay fun and memorable even in the Florida Heat.

1. If you can afford it, stay at the Helios Grand a Loews Resort.  This hotel is inside Epic Universe making it easy to get into the park and go back and forth.  You can line up to enter the park at 7 am and start riding the rides at 8 am.  This extra hour makes it to where you can get on the top rides like how to Train Your Dragon or Ministry of Magic without the long lines.  While we were there Ministry of Magic had a 300 minute wait, which is crazy, but there was no wait when we first arrived at the park.

2. Go to Super Nintendo world early.  This part of the park is extremely hot and even in mid May, it felt like it was 100 degrees in the Nintendo section of the park.  Go to this part of the park either before 10 am or after 7 pm to avoid the crazy heat.  There is no shade in this area and the early or late hours will help you enjoy the park more.

3. Epic Universe is all centered around the fountains so you can get to the different areas of the park easily.  Plan your day so that you can make sure you go to the top rides without waiting for hours!  This is a big deal because you can wait inlines for hours if you don't plan your trip and make sure you get to what you want to see early.
