This year Brian and I decided to go see the holiday lights in St Augustine without the kids. The last couple of times we have been the amount of people seeing the lights made it difficult to enjoy the sites. This year we did something different, we decided to stay at the Casa Monica Hotel which has a fabulous location next door to the Lightner Museum and across from Flagler college. It's also walking distance to everything. We also decided to see the lights from a golf cart with Pink Culture's Pinkmas tour.
The Casa Monica Resort & Spa in St. Augustine, Florida, is a historic hotel known for its distinct Moroccan and Spanish-influenced architecture, featuring hand-painted ceilings, ornate decor, and Moorish arches. This property felt elevated when you walked in and were greeted with champagne during checkin. I was concered that the rooms would be tiny but it was perfect and the decor matched the property perfectly. We were able to get comfortable and relax in our room which had a comfy chair and bed and a spacious bathroom all while over looking the beautiful pool. To make the property even better, there was a Starbucks downstairs where we enjoyed breakfast before going on a walk to explore the sites. I would give this property a 5 out of 5 stars. In addition, I got the property on points with a points boost via the Chase portal so we paid 26k points for an $800 room! If you have questions on how points work, message me nabetsi@nabetsi.com
